A really special bundle of gear, from us and District Vision.

Together we dreamt up a pair of Takeyoshi Altitude Master sunglasses, unusually made in a deep brown bioplastic, with tonal-brown nose and earpads, and rose-coloured lenses. 

The District Vision x Story mfg. Takeyoshi frame is custom made in Japan using District Vision "Earth-Tech" – a proprietary bio-material made from the cellulose of non-edible plant scraps. Earth-Tech is part of a closed-loop system, so the frame material is both biodegradable and recyclable for future use. We don't want to be misleading, so it should be noted that while the frame is made of this material the lenses, nose pads and earpads are not but can easily be removed if recycling or disposing of.

The arm is printed with the phrase "الحركة بركة", which means 'movement is a blessing' in one of Saeed's mother tongues.

We've paired them with a hand crochet (and, of course, naturally dyed) carry-pouch and a special-edition hand-carved stone necklace. 

We love them because they're really light, durable and perfect for summer and winter. 

Please take note these are sunglasses and as such appear different in different lights. The lenses in low light are quite dark, and more rose in bright light.
