Production Assistant
Job Title: Production Assistant
Location: Brighton/London (in office 3-4 days a week minimum and as needed)

Key Duties / Responsibilities:
Your duties will include, but are not limited to;
- Assist Production Manager with organisation and management of production.
- Assist Production Manager in dealing with factories and partners to ensure all technical requirements are met and bulk production is made to agreed spec in good time
- Be the main point of contact with manufacturers on matters relating to the technicalities of clothing production, providing prompt and clear responses.
- Engage in constant communication with manufacturers and suppliers to get updated lead-times, correct stock levels, pricing and other updates, and record all this information clearly and precisely,
- With the Production Manager, manage all internal and external software with regards bulk information. Make sure all relevant production information is updated on platforms (Zedonk and trackers) and communicated to the Production Manager.
- Assist Production Manager to manage the sourcing of production components.
- With Design and Production Manager, be involved in the handover of comprehensive production tech packs and ensure that all necessary information for bulk production is cross checked and input into Zedonk, ensuring clarity and accuracy
- Review and check all POs (check tech pack and zedonk qty match up).
- Take ownership of trims, check stock levels and raise seasonal purchase orders for trims.
- Keep record of sample and production fabrics, lab-dips and strike offs. Create and update a seasonal folder.
- Keep track of flow of all shipments from factories other than bulk - ownership off shipment tracker. Keep reference of stock at factories throughout the season.
- With Design and Production Manager, help to optimize costs while maintaining product quality and brand standards
- Have a good technical understanding on Story sizing, grading, dyes and best practices etc. and liaise with garment tech and factories regarding grading and sizing.
- Implement quality control measures and identify potential technical issues for pre-emptive testing prior to production, ensuring the maintenance of product integrity and consistency throughout all phases of production, ranging from sampling to final delivery.
- Working with the Production Manager on inbound bulk and sample QC’ing having final say on the sign off of goods to the wholesale and ecommerce teams.
- With Directors and Production Manager, regular reviewing of product development including sizing, manufacturers and making techniques
- Regular liaising with the Wholesale and Ecommerce teams on any production quality issues
- Sometimes you will be required to visit our manufacturers in other countries to ensure processes, timelines and standards are being maintained and best practice achieved.
- Ad hoc-duties
Skills / Experience / Knowledge needed:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Happy to travel to Brighton 3-5 days a week
- Experience with Adobe Suite and very good understanding of Excel and Zedonk (or similar production software)
- Fashion design graduate, relevant fashion development, technology course or experience or similar desired
- An understanding of technical design and garment manufacturing
- Production Assistant experience is a bonus
- Must be highly organised, self-managed and motivated to achieve a wide range of tasks
- Good eye for detail, ensuring a high standard of work and presentation

Job Title: Wholesale Assistant

About Us:
We are seeking an experienced, highly organised and detail-oriented Wholesale Assistant to support our wholesale operations and ensure seamless communication between our internal teams, wholesale agents, and customers. This role is vital in maintaining and strengthening our relationships with wholesale partners and ensuring the highest standards of service.
Job Summary:
The Wholesale Assistant will be responsible for managing all aspects of the wholesale process, from liaising with our wholesale agents to ensuring the smooth fulfillment of orders and payments. This position will work closely with the founders, finance, design, and production teams to coordinate wholesale activities and provide critical support during market periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wholesale Enquiries & Communication
- Liaise with our wholesale agents, Awaykin, to manage enquiries and queries from customers and potential customers, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale-related issues, providing support and information as needed.
- Wholesale Critical Path Management
- Manage the wholesale critical path to ensure all activities around market periods are completed on time, including updating and syncing Le New Black, verifying imagery and pricing, generating selling tools like lookbooks and linesheets, and coordinating the delivery of collections to Awaykin.
- Handle customs paperwork and ensure compliance with all shipping and delivery requirements.
- Visual Merchandising & PoS
- Collaborate with the creative directors and Awaykin to implement strategies for pop-ups and store-in-stores with wholesale partners.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Regularly review (with Awaykin and founders) the suitability and performance of wholesale partners.
- Prepare and distribute seasonal wholesale packs, including RRP prices, styling guides and detailed product information to support customer sales efforts.
- Financial & Invoicing Support
- Work with the finance team to monitor and manage wholesale debtors, providing necessary information and updates.
- Assist in reviewing and implementing customer payment terms in collaboration with the finance team and wholesale agents.
- Raise and issue all wholesale invoices, manage the debt collection process and track incoming wholesale payments.
- Wholesale Fulfillment & Logistics
- Coordinate with the warehouse to oversee the fulfillment of wholesale orders, ensuring compliance with customer delivery requirements and order specifications.
- Ensure all customer deliveries are managed efficiently, communicating any issues or delays to the relevant stakeholders.
- Data & Reporting
- Maintain and update wholesale software systems with accurate customer information and order details.
- Provide relevant wholesale data and reports to the design team and founders as requested.
- Production & Delivery Coordination
- Liaise with the production team to monitor the goods-in process and ensure optimal delivery dates are achieved with our wholesale partners.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a wholesale or sales support role within the fashion industry.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zedonk, and wholesale software platforms such as Le New Black.
- Knowledge of customs and logistics processes is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
