A vintage-inspired wadded jacket, finished with a contrast hand knit rib, two way "Story mfg." zip and flap patch pockets. The outer is made using a handwoven cotton fabric from Thailand, while the inner wadding is made from Ecodown, a sustainable alternative to down feathers, featuring a polyester fibre that is made completely from post-consumer plastic bottles.

Preorders are quite tricky things to manage, for us and a little for you. We expect this item to ship in the delivery window above, but there are always acts of God we can't account for. If you are ordering two things at once, and they’re ready at different times (eg you order this and an item that is ready to ship now) we will reach out to you to ask if you’d like us to hold and ship them together or ship in two shipments. Shipping together will always be cheaper. If you choose to ship separately, we will need to request additional postage (unless the value of each shipment exceeds our free shipping thresholds). Please note that we are unable to split shipments for U.S. customers. If you place an order that includes both an in-stock item and a preorder item, the order will be shipped together once all items are available.

Please note that much of our stuff is naturally dyed, and even where it isn’t, we largely use organic dyes where the colour isn’t ‘flat’. There’s almost always variation in tone and colour, both on a single garment and across different ones. Never are two of our things exactly the same (except in quality, where there should be no variation).

We do our best to make the images representative of the colour (after all, colour is our most cherished quality), but the light where we are and the light where you are may be a little different. Some images are taken under studio light, while others may be natural, shot at our dye house or here in our studio, to give the most rounded view.

Our naturally dyed clothing is coloured with organic materials that behave differently to synthetic dyes. These items may have some smell from the dye process and you may experience some crocking and rub-off when new. Please make sure you are comfortable with this when ordering.
